A business and real estate lawyer with long experience representing financial institutions, businesses and individual investors, Bill brings extensive litigation and transactional expertise to his clients.
Bill handles issues involving real estate, business contracts, commercial law, debt collection and probate matters from straightforward transactions to complex litigation. An experienced creditors’ rights attorney, he has represented banks in loan workouts and foreclosures, for both commercial and residential properties, as well as in contested judicial foreclosures and collection actions on promissory notes and security agreements. Bill also regularly advocates for clients in bankruptcy court.
Bill handles real estate contracts and closings, and is adept at managing the documentation and securitization of commercial loans involving real estate. He also advises special asset officers on a wide range of property management issues, including leases, evictions, tax matters and general liability. With property owners and investors, Bill works on all aspects of real estate acquisitions and sales, from development and due diligence through title clearance and commercial leasing.
Entrepreneurs and start-up companies also leverage Bill’s transactional experience, using his counsel in corporate matters such as entity formation, succession planning and ongoing compliance.
